Making history accessible through storytelling

I help heritage sites translate complex history into clear, compelling stories that resonate with journalists, visitors, and local communities.

About Lauren Reffue

I’m a senior at Lehigh University studying journalism and marketing, with a focus on storytelling, public relations, and community engagement. I have experience writing, reporting, and creating digital content that makes complex ideas clear and accessible.

During my internship at Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, I supported PR and communications efforts for a UNESCO World Heritage Site, contributing to media outreach, press materials, and digital storytelling across platforms. I am also an award-winning sports journalist and have worked as an Associate News Editor for The Brown and White, where I report on news stories and conduct interviews to bring accurate, engaging coverage to readers.

Outside of journalism, I’ve gained hands-on experience in marketing and leadership through roles in social media, product development, and founding an AI-powered startup focused on memory care. I’m especially interested in roles that combine storytelling, strategy, and real-world impact.
